Group Parental Transitions Programme

For larger organisations, we offer a group coaching programme to help your working parents navigate the practical, professional and psychological challenges that come with starting and raising a family, so they return to work confident, resilient and productive.

Our approach is shaped by each organisation’s unique strategy and the needs of its employees. The effectiveness of our programmes comes through working closely with internal functions such as Diversity & Inclusion, Learning & Development and HR.

By investing in your employees at a time of important personal change, you retain and empower talent and build your reputation as an employer of choice.

Programmes are available as a series of three to four group workshops that take place at key points before, during and after parental leave.

Programmes start from £5,000

What our clients sat about us

  • “WOMBA facilitated a ‘Working & Parenting Well’ Zoom session for our Government Legal Department Parents’ Network. Not only was it tailored to our needs through pre-session surveys but there was the chance for those joining the Zoom call to interact in really innovative ways via real-time surveys and through the chat function. Having an experienced moderator and chair from WOMBA allowed us to focus on getting the most out of it. The call provided an invaluable and user-friendly support session for our network at this hugely challenging time for parents. Thank you!”

Co-chair, Government Legal Department Parents’ Network

  • “WOMBA’s coaching helped me realise that being a parent was a strength, not a weakness. A small investment in support at this critical moment helps ensure that working parents reach their potential.”

Director of Strategic Planning and Insight, Nationwide Building Society

  • "Providing expert support to navigate the professional and psychological challenges that arise from becoming a working parent requires sensitivity and skill. The team at WOMBA not only have this expertise, but have worked in genuine partnership with my team to deliver an excellent support programme for our lawyers"

Head of People Development, Government Legal Department

  • "After returning from maternity leave to a new leadership role and during a pandemic – there was a lot I was hoping to get out of my coaching sessions. WOMBA’s coaching helped me work through the situation around my return, development areas and specific issues as they arose. The impact – I’ve been able to tackle challenges with a new perspective and confidence fuelled by my coach’s ability to get me to leverage and build on my own strengths."
